Feeling Sick?
If you are feeling sick with a fever, aches, shortness of breath, persistent coughing, loss of taste or smell, please do not come to church. Instead, watch online as we continue to offer it in that medium.
Masks?
We are not requiring people to wear masks. Certainly, we expect that some will wear masks and some will not. Let us be respectful of the choices everyone makes in this regard. I should note that we are having our greeters, ushers and communion ushers wear masks.
Social Distancing?
We are not roping off certain sections of pews within the church. Instead, we are encouraging people to socially distance by spreading themselves out around the sanctuary as best as you can. The balcony will also be available. Please be considerate of each other’s “personal bubbles” at this time. If you are unsure if your seat selection might make someone uncomfortable, please ask them.
Children’s Ministry?
Nursery is for 0-2 yrs old and Children’s Church is for ages 3-4th grade. Parents, please be aware that we will not be able to enforce social distancing as they are little kids and will do what little kids do. As always, it is up to the parents’ discretion whether or not to make use of these ministries or have the children stay with you during the service.
Communion?
Monthly communion will continue in much the same fashion as normal except that the elements (the drink and the bread) will be handed out together in a ziplock bag. The drink will be in a small lidded glass vial within the ziplock bag. These bags will be put together on Friday and refrigerated. After we take the bread & the cup, please place the vial back in the ziplock bag and leave it on your pew.
