Nursery
  • Our nursery is officially up and running!  It can be found in the back of the basementDSC_0774.JPG fellowship hall (next to the kitchen), and is open for children ages 0-2 during Sunday School and the Worship Service.
  • We consider nursery to be a vital ministry to the parents of the church, and have put a lot of thought into our policies and procedures to ensure that parents can feel confident about placing their children in our thoughtful and loving care.  Click HERE to view our Nursery Policies and Procedures.
  • We are able to provide this ministry thank to the help of a team of wonderful volunteers.  Click HERE to meet the members of this team!
  • In order to protect the children and families our nursery serves, we do ask that you not bring any children to the nursery with the following symptoms: Fever 100F or higher, Diarrhea, Drainiage from the eyes, Headache, Nausea/Vomiting, Undiagnosed rash, Ongoing cough, Earache, Sore throat, Yellow/green drainiage from the nose.  We do invite you to participate in the service with your child if they are unable to be in the nursery, and the balcony is available if you would like room for your child to play freely.  Thank you for helping us prevent the spread of illness.
  • We welcome children in our services!  Please, feel free to participate in the service with your young children.

Sunday School
  • Children's Sunday School starts at 9:30am.
  • The 3-7yr olds will be using curriculum from the Ministry To Children website.  With a passion for reaching and teaching children, they provide curriculum that gives pre-schoolers a foundational knowledge of Jesus and the Bible.
  • The upper elementary students will work their way through a series titled "How Majestic is Your Name" - a study on the Names and Character of God.  This study presents the Hebrew names of God in the Old Testament and the names of Christ and the Holy Spirit in the New Testament. Each lesson encourages children to see and rejoice in the goodness and greatness of God as they explore the meaning of His glorious names.
  • The Sunday School program also includes community outreach projects such as singing at the Brooklyn Living Center, collecting needed items for the local animal shelter, and making Valentine's for seniors in the community.
  • If you have questions, or would like more information, feel free to contact Luann Yoder, Sunday School Superintendent, (517) 688-9313

Home Fellowship

  • Thursday evening Home Fellowship is held at the pastor's house and begins at 7:30pm.
  • Children of all ages are welcomed at the Thursday evening Home Fellowship.  The study begins with a children's time and then the children are dismissed to the basement play area.  Younger children are supervised by a youth member or adult.

VBS

  • This year we held VBS on August 15-18 6:00-8:30 pm on Main Street!

  • Kids were drawn into stories Jesus told about everyday people in everyday situations. But His stories weremainstreetlogo.jpg anything but ordinary! Jesus turned lives upside down and hearts inside out through parables that challenged people to look at themselves and others in new and unexpected ways. The kids got an inside-out, upside-down experience like no other…to let Jesus make a difference in them!

  • Stay tuned for more information on NEXT year's VBS!!!
